October’s meditation: 11-minute grounding meditation
Feeling grounded in you body and your environment is so important. When you feel more grounded and connected to yourself and your surroundings it helps you to feel safe, and when you feel safe, your body and your brain are able to process thoughts, feelings and emotions more easily.
For this meditation, you will practice in a seated position on the ground and some “tapping” is involved! You’ll see what we’re talking about when you try the meditation.
We highly recommend and encourage you to download any meditation audios and save them to your phone somehow (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) This step to download and save them to a folder takes less than 2 minutes and then whenever you want to access the meditation on your device it will only take about 30 seconds to find and access it!
DOWNLOAD ALL THE MATERIALS FROM YOUR LAPTOP (not your smart phone) AND THEN DRAG AND DROP THEM FROM YOUR LAPTOP INTO A FOLDER THAT’S ACCESSIBLE TO YOU (ex: Google Drive).
